This latest article from TfS provides a recap of key points from “The Product Carbon Footprint Guideline for the Chemical Industry”, a pioneering guide for the standardization of product carbon footprint (PCF) calculations for chemicals. The guideline’s latest version, published in 2022, highlights the urgent need for high-quality carbon footprint data and advocates a harmonized approach to PCF calculations.

Recognizing the significant momentum and benefits of harmonization, Carbon Minds has taken a major step forward by aligning our database that aligns with the TfS standards, providing even greater quality and comparability of emissions data.
