Better Comparison of Renewable and Fossil Pathways

1,200 New Renewable Chemical Datasets in the Carbon Minds Database

Carbon Minds has expanded its database with 1,200 renewable chemical datasets, enabling side-by-side comparison of renewable and fossil production routes using consistent, region- and technology-specific environmental data.

The release includes 10 key renewable production technologies, such as re-refined base oils (Types I–III), methane and methanol from CO₂ (CCU), and naphtha, diesel, and VGO from mixed waste pyrolysis.

All models follow a harmonized methodology that is TĂśV-certified, compliant with ISO standards, and aligned with TfS and UEIL & ATIEL guidelines.

This release helps companies compare the environmental impacts of renewable and fossil pathways more consistently and support better decision-making across chemical value chains.
