2024 update of cm.chemicals LCA/PCF database

We are excited to announce that this update increases data availability and extends certified compliance for our data. It’s a sign of our commitment to provide the highest quality life cycle assessment data for the chemical industry.

We update our database every year. What’s new this time?

Data for even more chemicals and technologies

cm.chemicals was already the world’s largest life cycle assessment database for chemicals and plastics. We have added a further 8000 datasets to bring our total to over 100,000, now covering 1300+ chemicals and plastics with multiple production technologies in 200+ regions.

Further certification for compliance with a new methodology relevant to the lubricant industry

In addition to our existing TÜV Rheinland Energy & Environment certifications for compliance with ISO 14040/44 (LCA), 14067 (PCF) and the Together for Sustainability PCF Guidelines, the cm.chemicals database methodology is now also TÜV certified for compliance with the UEIL/ATIEL methodology for PCF calculations for lubricants and other specialities.
